2021 Farm Tours
Did you know we are offering private farm tours of our home grown facility?
For the Month of March, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday we are offering private tours guided by one of us who know the animals very well. We would like to make this a uniquely memorable experience. We encourage lots of questions and hands on learning opportunities all within the classic country setting of rural Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania.

Welcome and thank you for your interest a private tour at Barnes Yard Petting Zoo, llc.
We are striving to provide an intimate experience where you and up to 7 friends can interact with our animals right here on our happy little working farm. Since it is a working farm you never know what you might find. From friendly farm cats to old pickup trucks delivering hay, every visit is a unique experience! We are still in the process of completing renovations that make it easy for you to access in the future, so we ask for your patients as we work to “pretty” things up. In the meantime, we are excited to announce the arrival of spring lambs into our new nursery barn! You will get to interact with the lambs, feed the moms and take in some of the grandeur that is early spring on the farm.
1-hour farm tour
Arrive at your time slot provided. Every guest will be asked to disinfect their shoes and hands lightly. This is a biosecurity measure, we take great pride in to keep our animals free of cross contaminated disease, especially in a nursery setting. Off to the fun part in meeting the baby animals in the nursery for 30 minutes. Next, we take a stroll up the pasture to feed some animals. Take your time meeting them and enjoy the country air. Finally, we round off the hour by meeting the chickens at the chicken coop where they are sure to have laid some lovely fresh eggs that morning! Learn about the science behind where your breakfast comes from and take-home half a dozen (6) eggs hand-picked by you! Don’t forget to say hello to Henrietta the chicken, Benji the bunny and let us hear your best rooster crow.
· Group total of (8) guests for 1 hour Includes (2) animal Lunch boxes to feed the animals.
· Each lunch box comes with (1) half dozen (6-count) egg carton to collect eggs to take home.
· Each lunch box also sends you home with a fun little farm prize as a thank you for visiting.
· A La Carte items may be added to this

30-minute Lamb and kid tour
Try our 30-minute nursery barn session! This is a quick hello to the moms and babies and lets you and your little ones interact with the lambs, feed the moms and ask lots of questions about animals.
Total: $25.00 per person (2 and under is free)
