Barnes Yard Petting Zoo, LLC is a self funded, private rescue that bridges an animal's past with a bright future of interacting with the public.

Our goal is to couple our wonderful animals with an unforgettable experience you and your family won't soon forget. From Birthday parties and charity events to scouting badges and photo shoots, we are your one stop shop to bring the fun to you. THAT'S RIGHT! We are a traveling service bringing top quality party fun to your back yard!

The Barnes family has shared an interest of animals of every kind. Through   4-H clubs, FFA and our thirst for continued education we strive to provide top quality care to our animals and the most current and up to date education to our guests of all ages. 

Member Bios

 Primarily equine focused, Marie Barnes was "bit" by the horse bug at a very young age. Her interests did not stop with her passion for horses "I believe every animal encounter is a contributing factor to my life story and my happiness. My animals drive me to be better every day. They make me who I am and it makes me a better person because of them..."   she says.  Her passions were fueled by her family to start this project to bridge the gap of animal education and the general public. Guests of all ages can enjoy the animals and have a hands on learning experience.
